The plan is departing from Sanur area by taking fast boat to Penida Island Island. The sites that we planned to visit should be close to each other. Such as Kelingking Beach, Uug Beach (Broken Beach), and Angels Billabong. The reasons we choose those sites are because they are located close to each other. And also they are Instagramable photo spots.

Nusa Penida One Day Trip Itinerary

  1. Departure

One day trip to Nusa Penida begins with morning departure from your hotel to Sanur Harbor. From Sanur Harbor we will take fast boat service to Nusa Penida Island. The fast boat trip will take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes – 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Nusa Penida Island.

 

  1. Arrival at Kelingking Beach

The first destination of one day Nusa Penida Island Trip is Kelingking Beach. The location of Kelingking Beach is at Banjar Karang Dawa, Bunga Mekar Village. The beach itself is situated under the cliff with wide white sand area. Stiff hillside landscape is not allow us to go down due there is no road access at the moment.

Even though we only can see Kelingking Beach that being told looks like Zakynthos Beach in Greece, the view of this beach is wonderful. And also you may take picture or selfie with background of the beach from higher ground.

  1. Heading to Pasih Uug (Broken Beach)

After we satisfied to explore Kelingking Beach, we continue the trip to Pasih Uug or more popular as Broken Beach. It is located in Banjar Sampang, Bunga Mekar Village. This beach named Broken Beach because it has 150 meters high cliff with hole on the side. This hole shape just look like a tunnel. That is why the hole is like a broken wall and it is named Broken Beach.

In this site, the tourist may enjoy the panorama view of wonderful cliff and clear blue sea water. The ocean wind blowing your face and hair is giving the exciting experience for us. There are several small shops or warungs offer the tourist fresh local coconut for our refreshment. After finish taking pictures in some nice spots we will continue the journey to the next stop.

  1. Last Stop at Angel’s Billabong

The last stop of Nusa Penida Island one day trip is Angel’s Billabong. The location is nearby Broken Beach. It is only 5 – 10 minutes away from our previous destination. Angel’s Billabong is a natural pool of the water river before it flows to the sea. The water in this pool is clear and fresh. On the low tide and small wave time, it is safe to swim in this pool. There are also some strong cliff rocks surrounding the area which are nice for photo background.

  1. Going Back to Bali

After you finish the 3 amazing spots which are Kelingking Beach, Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), and Angel’s Billabong, the Nusa Penida Trip is finished. Just before the sunset time, the fast boat will going back to Sanur Harbor and it is the time for us to go back to Bali.
