Starting the Trip
Pick up at your hotel lobby or other pickup point of your choice.
Administration
First, we are going to depart from your hotel to the assembly point. It is located in Ubud area, Gianyar, Bali. The trip will be depending on your hotel location. After we arrive, the staff will greet and escort us to the office. Before starting the activity, we need to fill some administration form especially for your life insurance coverage. In addition to that, they will also inform you all the inclusion for this package. Once it done, we can start the preparation for the activity.
Preparation At the Assembly Point
After we clear all the administrative aspect, then we can start our preparation. First thing you want to do is wearing safety equipment. For security measure you have to wear boots and helmet. In addition to that, you may add some preparation for yourself such as sunscreen and bug repellant. After you are ready, you will be introduced to your jungle track guide. He will give some instructions and guide you through the activity. Please follow his instruction and guidance thoroughly as he is in charge of you and your group safety.
Brief Explanation About ATV Quadbike
After all the preparation is complete, now we depart to starting point. At the starting point, the instructor will inform technical skill requirements to ride the quadbike vehicle. You have to listen and follow through carefully for his instruction. ATV bike or All Terrains Vehicle has a different mechanism if we compare it with normal bike. ATV has 4 wheels in contrast with normal bike which has only 2 wheels. Therefore, many people refer it as Quadbike. As result for having 2 wheels on each side, it is easier to manage the balance. But at the same time, it also requires stronger force to steer the wheels.
In addition to that, the throttle mechanism is also different. It uses your thumb to control the throttle mechanism of the vehicle. On the safety mechanism, the brake is on both side of the handlebar. To summarize, it is heavily relying on our arms and grip strength for the handling. For the gear system, it is gear stick. Instead of being controlled on your left foot like normal bike, you need to change the gear with your hand just like driving a car. Not only having forward gear mode, but it also has reverse gear mode to go backward. So, please be aware of which gear you are on. To familiarize yourself with the vehicle, you can take a few rounds of small circle in the starting point. Feeling excited already? Start the engine and ride the challenge through the jungle!
Finish The Jungle Exploration and Back to Assembly Point
Everything that we started will ends eventually. It is also true for this exciting experience. After approximately 2 hours exploring the beautiful forest, we finally reach the finish point. Back to assembly point in which is also our finish point, it is time to clean up yourself. We have provided towel and changing room ready for you. With all the physically demanding exercise in this activity, as a result we need some food to fill our stomach. We are going to have lunch with Indonesian buffet menu at the dining area. Finish with the food, it is time to depart back to your hotel.
