Starting the Trip
Pick up at your hotel lobby or other pickup point of your choice.
Administration
First, we are going to depart from your hotel to the assembly point. It is located in Ubud area, near Ayung River. The trip will be depending on your hotel location. After we arrive, the staff will greet and escort us to the office. Before starting the activity, we need to fill some administration form especially for your life insurance coverage. In addition to that, they will also inform you all the inclusion for this package. Once it done, we can start the preparation for the activity.
Preparation At the Assembly Point
After we clear all the administrative aspect, then we can start our preparation. First thing you want to do is change your clothing. For this activity, we highly recommend wearing swimming suit. However, if you prefer not using swimming suit at least wear clothes that has lightweight material. It is because you will get wet during the activity. For this reason, swimming suit or lightweight clothing will not hinder your movement in the river. Next thing is the safety equipment. For security measure you have to wear safety jacket and helmet. In addition to that, you may add some preparation for yourself such as sunscreen and bug repellant. After you are ready, you will be introduced to your boat guide. He will give some instructions and guide you through the activity. Please follow his instruction and guidance thoroughly as he is in charge of you and your group safety.
Departing To Start Point and Begin the Activity
Finally, the fun is starting right now! After all the preparation is complete, now we depart to starting point. To reach the river, we need to walk down a few stairs in the middle of the local farm. Let's consider this as small warm up session before we face the real challenge. In addition to that, we also can enjoy beautiful nature in this area on the way down. Take A Break At Halfway Point
Halfway through the river, we are going to have a break. It is very important to rest your muscle and catch your breath before continuing the exploration. There is a small waterfall with small pond and calm water where we can stop for a moment. Moreover, we have a really nice photo spot in the break area. We can take some pictures and enjoy the scenery while refilling our energy. Refresh enough? Take your paddle and finish the rest of the challenge.
Finish The Rafting and Back to Assembly Point
Everything that we started will ends eventually. It is also true for this exciting experience. After approximately 2 hours exploring the river stream, we finally reach the finish point. Back to assembly point in which is also our finish point, it is time to clean up yourself. We have provided towel and changing room ready for you. With all the physically demanding exercise in this activity, as a result we need some food to fill our stomach. We are going to have lunch with Indonesian buffet menu at the dining area. Finish with the food, it is time to depart back to your hotel.
